MOTION DESIGN IN THE AGE OF AI

STORY LAB #03 → Hosted by Dan Ortiz aka Dan the Animator

Reimagining motion design at the cutting edge of tradition and technology.

SESSION OVERVIEW

Motion design has always been about movement, rhythm, and emotion. Dan Ortiz—also known in the industry as “Dan the Animator”—has spent decades crafting kinetic stories for brands, artists, and agencies. Now, he’s exploring how AI reshapes his process of creation, from pre-production to final output.

In this session, Dan will share how he integrates generative tools into his workflow—showing where automation helps, where craft still leads, and how to keep the human touch alive in a graphic that moves. Expect live demos and insights, candid reflections, and a glimpse into how AI can amplify (not replace) the artistry of motion.
